报告题目：Evolution of dispersal in advective and hostile environments

报告摘要：The mechanism behind the evolution of dispersal in advective and hostile environments is unclear so far. In this talk, based on a Lotka-Volterra competition-diffusion-advection system, we try to understand this issue by both analytic and numerical approaches. Our result suggests that the lower ratio of advection and diffusion rate will evolve, and there is a tradeoff driven coexistence mechanism between diffusion and advection when this ratio relation is reversed.

周鹏教授简介

周鹏，上海高校特聘教授（东方学者），上海师范大学数学系教授。2015年毕业于上海交通大学，获理学博士，师从国家杰出青年基金获得者肖冬梅教授。2015-2017受大西洋数学科学研究联盟（AARMS）资助，在加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学（Memorial University of Newfoundland）从事博士后研究，合作导师为国际著名动力系统专家赵晓强教授。 目前，周鹏教授的研究兴趣主要是偏微分方程和单调动力系统。其研究成果已在国际知名数学期刊J. Math. Pure Appl., J. Funt. Anal., Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations, J. Differential Equations等上发表。
