报告题目：Dynamical effects of damping in 2D hydrodynamics

报告摘要：We consider the 2D damped-driven Navier-Stokes system on the torus (on the sphere, in a bounded domain with stress-free boundary conditions, or in R2 with finite energy solutions). We show that the damping term reduces the dimension of the global attractor and the rate of growth of the dimension in the limit of vanishing viscosity is sharp. It is also shown that the global attractors of the damped- driven Navier-Stokes system converge strongly in H1 (with respect to the Hausdorff distance) to the strong global attractor of the damped Euler system, whose solutions in H1 are not necessarily unique.

报告人简介

Alexey Ilin教授现任俄罗斯科学院 Keldysh 应用数学研究所首席科学研究员。1975-1980 在莫斯科国立大学读本科，博士期间师从A.N.Tikhonov教授，并于1990年获得博士学位；2006 年在Steklov数学研究所获得Habilitation。Alexey Ilin 教授在非线性偏微方程及谱理论方面取得了很好的研究成果，对无穷维动力系统吸引子的存在性、正则性等相关问题也有深入的研究，尤其关于经典的 Navier-Stokes 方程以及 Euler 方程的吸引子问题取得了一系列深刻的结果。先后在CPAM、J. London Math. Soc.、Int. Math. Research Notices等国际重要学术期刊上发表论文五十余篇。
